Mur are very social creatures, enjoying the company of friends and family. The females even assist each other in nursing duties, as demonstrated by the mayor of a distant frontier town as she attends to some important business, and welcomes the son of a friend to her udder beside her own son. As mayor, she has many duties, and demonstrating her maternal and caring nature helps get her reelected every few years. She is never too busy for the little ones.
