fydbac does these cool stream-time sketch sessions (as described here). The idea is she takes minimal input (15 words or less OR a link to a song, plus one reference link per character), and spends an hour or hour-and-a-half drawing something based on that.

For this piece, I gave fydbac a link to Jacob's Chain, an instrumental piece from my favorite movie of all time, Ink. Go watch it if you want, it's the crux of the story, the most beautiful part where the story sort of comes together and ... ohhh, so nice. (note, the guy that wrote the music, Jamin Winans, is also the guy that wrote the movie, directed the actors, and ... well, basically did everything his wife wasn't in charge of *grin*) If you want to see the corresponding clip from the movie (spoiler), click here.

Aram's not usually one to be saucy or seductive, but she is one to meditate and seek introspection. I love the dichotomy in this piece, and watching fydbac do all that shading was "selection tool wizardry in motion!", as I put it. ;)
