Not my usual work but I wanted to do some traditional work, and wanted to learn more with markers, so I doodled up a happy little kobold trying to sell you bugs and leaves in a forest. It retrospect I was worried about the marker work and didn't spend enough time on the design and chosen colors so he looks a bit like Stitch. I'm more comfortable with the medium now so I'll do a better job on the design next time.
Question Time! If you do any traditional art, what is your preferred media? I like markers and colored pencils (I used Ohuhu markers and Prismacolors), but I also like watercolors as well.

*Hands the little gremlin a shiny coin (purely ornamental and has no actual value) for the ladybug. I heard they're good for luck.*
As for the question, I believe I answered this already in one of your previous works.
What I like to do is sketch with a pencil on a notebook, then I take a photo and trace over it digitally.

I know a few folks that do that as well, even making the pencil work stand out in interesting ways on the digital side. When I mix digital and traditional, I tend to go the other way, doing the sketch work digitally, then printing and inking with a pen using a lightbox as I like traditional shading more. This one was all traditional though.
