Doodled scenery here, and despite using bright colors and fairly high saturation, I got a comment that it looked melancholy and a question on if that was the correct way to interpret it.

On some level, yes. When I sketched this I really just wanted to do a background concept, but I was indeed feeling pensive. Just goes to show that some people will detect your emotions, haha!

It is a nice bit of scenery though and I hope to add some characters later
