fydbac does these cool stream-time sketch sessions (as described here). The idea is she takes minimal input (15 words or less OR a link to a song, plus one reference link per character), and spends an hour or hour-and-a-half drawing something based on that.

For this piece, I gave fydbac a link to Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger, and a link to Rooth'roo's reference page. And this is what she came up with. :) Happy dancing jammin' roo, although far more buff than he usually is. O.O But hey, that's the fun of artistic freedom. Y'never know what you're going to get. It's a pretty cool interpretation of Rooth'roo, I dig it. I still don't know how she did that star effect in the background. And I watched it. O.O I think it was actually a brush.

Fydbac is the single most professional artist I've dealt with in this fandom. Whether hiring her for stream sketches, or offline work, I get a professional invoice, a timeframe, and very clear rules and procedures handling all the important stuff. As her bio states on her web page "...I work to go beyond expectations and make the audience come back for even more." I'd say it's working. This is my 3rd commission (first one is a longer project), and that's not counting the kiriban I won.
