Soooo awesome and so incredibly beautiful!! This one was definitely quite a ride over the months, and it was really cool to be able to watch it all come together throughout all the different stages of progress! The amount of detail that went into this whole piece is just astounding, and god the dichotomy and contrast between the two different sides is just so gorgeously striking to see between the more natural, bright, magical environment of Kira’s world alongside the vast, dark, technological feel of Thieu’s! The look of all the large structures looming in the distance like the castles, the towers, the floating island, and the various kinds of spaceships, planets, and megastructures really gives a sense of just how huge the spaces beyond what we can see here must really be! And as incredible as the backgrounds are in and of themselves, the characters themselves are captured so wonderfully as well! The shading, rendering, and detail work is simply amazing, I love how soft and smooth all of the fur and feathers look, and the folds in the fabric of Kira’s clothing and the metallic textures of Thieu’s robotic parts are so nice too… God it’s all just so satisfying to look at! And of course the use of the lighting and glow effects from the fire, the holograph, and the warm light coming from within the center of them hits all of the right beats just perfectly, honestly you really know and understand my love of cool lighting effects too well, haha~ That all aside, this piece is just beyond fantastic, I feel like words alone wouldn’t be able to do enough justice for how truly lovely it is! 🥰🥰🥰
