They're an iconic part of the Final Fantasy games~

Yeah, it wouldn't be Final Fantasy without them or Moogles.

Also Chocobo's come in different colours from the iconic yellow to black to green and to even gold.

Final fantasy 7 and 9 I managed to get all colours of chocobo

If you got the Gold Chocobo in 7 you could get an awesome Materia, the Knights of the Round which was pretty much an instant win as it could obliterate all with the exception of the Weapons and of course Sephiroth!

Yep it was a long process. You had to get the black chocobo before you could get a gold one.

Yeah and you also had to get a green one and a blue one before getting the black one. And to even get the Gold Chocobo you had to catch a "Wonderful" Chocobo too and they're only found on the snowy Northern Continent.

Eeyup, I did all that hard work and raced each chocobo in the races too on the game.
