The world of Batan is a massive planet, stretching tens of thousands of miles. However despite the vast lane and oceans, there are three key areas one must take note if they visit.
#1 Galbian Empire Expansionist Wars: In their zealous plan to remove gluttony and return Batan to its natural state, the Galbian Empire has launched countless wars over the last 200 years. They took advantage in the early chaos during the Defiler Wars by conquering smaller and weakened nations under the guise or a united front. However it was evident that the Galbians never intended to relinquish back their lands and have continued to conquer more nations.
Now in the year 175, the war has reached the borders of the Tsardom of Khizdiba and the Trade Company of Nararag which has been stalling for 20 years. Due to the combined efforts of both nations as well as military equipment supplied by the Omegarunian Empire and United States, the Galbian Warfront has been met with tens of thousands of losses. Currently both sides have reached a state of a cold war due to a combination of mounting losses and bad harvests.
#2 Omegarunian Galbian Demilitarized Zone: For 200 years since their revival thanks to the Ishigami Professionals, the United Kingdom of Omegarune has been at odds with the empire. For well over a century, sporadic wars have been fought over territories and other slights instigated by the empire. But in the year 122, a ceasefire was signed after years of horrible war leading to peace for a while.
Unfortunately this peace appears to be threatened as the current emperor, Darukta Valentine the 7th has allowed “Rogue Elements” of the Galbian army launch attacks on less protected Omegarunian towns and cities. Some fear that if these attacks continue, King Asgore may have no other alternative but declare war once more.
#3 Order of the Gessian Church zones of influence: A religious order that bands the three hordes into a single army, the religion itself unsurprisingly spans across all the hordes. The horde of rot and hunger being most notable as well as the borders across nearby nations and kingdoms. Interestingly not as much as the horde of poison due to the larger presence of fattening beasts and food golems.
