Sketchbook trade from last year, for  cybercat of her character Jenner. When I was figuring out what to draw, examining the model sheet she had given me, I wasn't sure if it should be a faux romance novel cover, or something more swashbuckling... he has a sort of classic seductive badness, you see. I don't know that he's really playing pirate here, but Cybercat assured me that it would be right up his alley!

Mostly I'm just thrilled that I was able to do a decent background at all. I pushed myself to give him a setting because I so rarely do that and I know I need the practice. This was all done in HB lead mech pencil.

I am tempted to color this at some point if I get the chance...
