operation dark storm is the name given by the Mersorkans to the air battle of Nevrea that lasted between the 12th of january to the 6th of may 1944 between the kindom of coastland and The republic of merso against Nevrea.

this operation was a TRM-Coastland victory, most Nevrean pilots lacked air combat experience compared to the Mersorkan pilots also had inferior aircraft compared to the Mersorkans and Coastlandeese.

in the mid stages of the operation Nevrea requested help from Kutziwalt, they sent some squadrons of mercenaries, most of them were from the Gold ring region, they had experience with air combat and some of them were the only aces that Nevrea had during the war however they all got defeated one by one by the mersorkans.
