Here’s my take on a classic Canadian dinner staple!
Here’s what I used:
1 small onion (sliced, grilled and caramelized)
4 slices of cheese
Peameal BACON (3 slices cooked) - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peameal_bacon
Dijon Mustard
Yellow mustard
Onion jam - https://www.allrecipes.com/recipe/2.....asy-onion-jam/
Here’s how I did it
1-cook onions on grill with vinegar and mustard powder until caramelized
2-cook BACON until both sides are well done
3-assemble your sandwich
4-enjoy with your favourite side
From Chris: Keep in mind there is also the factor of melting the cheese in the sandwich so that it gets nice and gooey.
Another pan / weight on the sandwich will help with that, or even a panini press if you have one, will work.
