Originally written and recorded by Leonard Cohen.Birch explains about his attempt at a solo career after leaving Grizzly, Stoat, and Young.I had recorded this song previously, and as an experiment, added in the vocal harmonies which build with each chorus. I am especially proud of the descant in the last chorus. It has brought some listeners to tears. I revamped it for Birch, slightly, by running it through Melodyne to correct some pitch errors.
