Kinda fucking around with Zerik’s beast form but not engulfed with shadow magic, which uh is canon. He’s a lot more humanoid/anthro in the canon when in the form but he can act more feral as depicted. I’m still messing with concepts for it so the design may be altered in the future but mmm lore go brr

To sum it up quickly:

I was playing around with what it’d look like if he wasn’t engulfed in the shadow magic which may go through more design changes as I flesh it out more. There are different levels to it, you usually do not see the full “beast” unless enraged enough/kinda lost in it. Essentially shadow magic is super strong but has big drawbacks where the user can get “lost” in it, where their souls get so controlled by the rage they can no longer really see or sense properly so they just go on rampages. It alters the physical form too, engulfing the user, actually similar to how corruption does but not quite the same. Like all magics in my canon, it can physically harm the user if used improperly or going beyond the soul’s limit.

Zerik is the one who has shadow magic as his primary so he can do more fancy stuff with it compared to other characters without getting too fucked up by it.
