I suddenly moved, my job changed, and I couldn't use the internet, so it was very hectic. But somehow I managed to come this far. So this is my first update in almost two months. I hope you like it.
Changes
・Most of what is written in the thumbnail.
・From this version, I will attach a changelog. Please check in-game.
・I tried to create a system that adding the species of playable characters.
Goals for the next update
・I'm aiming to complete Chapter 2.
・I also want to add more items!

Nice, another update! I just playtested the newest edition, and here's my thoughts.
I noticed that characters sometimes gain extra height, but I don't know what causes that yet. Nonetheless, it's a pleasant addition for immersion, as it didn't make sense when your character could be 1000+ lbs, yet just a foot tall. On topic of immersion, I like the new immobility feature requiring you to watch just how big you actually get. I think it could open avenues for more trap events down the line...
On another note, though it's cool to see a little more content in the form of the new coastal caves, its position as the tutorial level combined with a lack of unique events, means that after your first trip through the caves, you don't have much reason to go back, and you're stuck only playing in the plains again. I'm not telling you to make another new dungeon, but look at the Coastal Caverns and give them their own unique event, similar to Cubone's Shack in the plains. Maybe an optional Monster House encounter?
All in all, good update!

I think it would make sense, as a lot of extreme weight gain sequences I see have some amount of height gain to supplement.
I'd feel like you should gain height logarithmicallly, if that makes any sense; that way, as you get heavier, you need to get even bigger before you get taller.
(On the topic of weight, I keep noticing a quirk in the Training Scale GUI where lean, muscle, and fat mass don't add up in a way that matches your total weight. I'm going to assume it's a bug.)

Been loving the new update and can't wait to try out some of the other species. Gonna be really cool once we get to the really interesting stuff like the story. Also, I feel there should be different consequences when experiencing certain blackouts/ game overs after doing so in the town. Since I experienced quite a few of those while playing the game. I do find it jarring and funny that you get dumped outside a dungeon despite just being in the town.
So far I'm enjoying this new update, will there be a proper measurement for which stat accumulates to Lean / Muscle / Fat and possibly a way to lower these?
Also seems you can go negative with your weight if you let yourself starve dunno if you'd wanna fix that or not, a Eevee flying from lack of weight is scary!

Does the player's weight become negative when starving? It's probably a mistake in the program when starving. I'll check it out in a bit.
Also, I think I'll redo the weight description someday. The muscle system may be abolished. Honestly, it's confusing. At this point.

Pretty good stuff! I've been enjoying playing this quite a bit.
The weight system is a bit wonky though; checking things at the training ground reveal that the "Lean", "Muscle" and "Fat" often don't end up actually equalling your final weight. Not entirely sure why this is happening, but it might have something to do with training to absurdity; I've gotten my Eevee into a rhythm of just training until all my EVs were at 1000.

Yes, I may also add something like a maximum EV value. Like the maximum value increases as you progress through the game.

Finally got around to playing this and it was really fun! While pretty simple in its current state I think it captures the PMD vibe pretty nicely and I’m curious to see more from the NPCs (as well as figure out what those Mysterious Apples will eventually do)
I have noticed a few oddities here and there, I feel the way Speed works in this game is kinda weird (sometimes my character’s speed will go down even if he’s hungry or starving, and I feel like the speed maybe goes down a little TOO fast which can make dungeons troublesome. I’ve also noticed a glitch that happens sometimes where the game still lets me move at negative speed and if I complete the dungeon in this state the speed will not go back up and I’ll get a game over immediately the next time I rest, battle or exercise). But honestly for a WIP fan project made by one person I think this is pretty well done! You’re doing a great job
A PMD fan game with weight gain elements has always been something I’ve really wanted to see (especially since regular PMD already has a Belly Stat and a mechanic where eating past fullness temporarily raises your Belly with the game message “<Pokémon’s> belly size has expanded!” And everything ) not to mention as a long time pmd fan seeing any pmd fan content brings a smile to my face since the spin-off series seems to have been somewhat forgotten by Nintendo. Overall as both a PMD fan and a fan of fat Pokémon getting to play this really brought a smile to my face, thank you so much for creating this fun little text game!
