Yeah, funny thing about that - by law, they have to warn people of EVERY potential side effect...even if it's one that literally only one person might ever experience over the course of any given medication's lifetime.
Also provides a nice legal shield for them - if something happens, they can just point at the list and say 'Well, we TOLD you this might happen, but you went and used it anyway.'.

In Europe advert are allowed only for drugs you're allowed to buy without a doctor prescription and are not covered by any healthcare program (state or private insurance) so mainly thing you use or a cold or a sunburn.
Anything else is totally forbidden, so no ad for strong opioid pain killer or Antidepressant (paracetamol is ok)
Even if some may be covered by your insurance, they can't be the "same", like you can hear advert for "pepto-bismol" (sweet pink mint flavour) but the insurance covered one is "peptu-bismul" the green chemical flavoured goo one.
The real anti-acid here is named "maalox" lemon flavour with TV ads 6€50/40 pills, 2.25 time the price of "xolaam" plaster taste 2€88/40 ! (save 56%) both of course made by the same manufacturer
Thinking about price the exact same insulin pen sold $400 is sold in europe for 40€ !!!!
