I actually wonder how much faster that would be. What sort of intelligence does a clone have? If it can't think for itself, only "respond appropriately", wouldn't that require a fair bit of multitasking to essentially be doing two things at once like that? Such split attention might not actually help save time if you're not mentaly up to it.
I have an important question: How long do we, readers, have to wait for a worthy (almost impossible) strong antagonist (like a Steven Armstrong)?
