Is ´n Insider-Schmäh. Wenn Jedi eine gewisse Handbewegung machen, können sie die Macht benutzen, um andere zu manipulieren. Sie können ihren Geist für eine Weile kontrollieren. Peinlich wird es nur dann, wenn das Gegenüber über einen eigenen starken Willen verfügt. Dann klappt´s nämlich nicht.^^;
Voolvif Monn would make a terrible Deathstick Salesman right about now. He needs to see how weak he currently is both physically and mentally right now before he can wisely fight back. If he won't see reason then zap, tap, and wrap him. Give him some happy stimulants or tickle torture to get his mind off of work. When he calms down then you can go straight into the new identity montage with new attire and weapons and a new name ... just make sure that the current bounty doesn't try to make off with Voolvif in an escape pod, or hide a tracker on the ship for later ambush. :)

Also, I love the subtle humor you included here. The Jedi mind trick that didn’t work.
Voolvif: “Obey me.”
Fennrer: “No.”
Fennrer’s face is perfect. He’s insulted that Voolvif would dare use the force against him, but he’s also irked that Voolvif thought he would be weak-minded enough to fall for it.
I think we all know what happens next:
Fennrer raises blaster: “You’ve disappointed me for the last time.”
Proceeds to stun Voolvif.
To be fair, Fennrer has good reason to deny Voolvif. The minute the empire knows the crew harbored a traitor, they will all be marked as traitors. When guilty of treason, you better pray for a quick death.
Also, I don’t how you do it; making a new page each night is impressive, considering how hard it is to make a comic.
I’m not complaining. I feel like I’m tuning into my favorite program at night. I can’t tell you how happy this makes me.
That said, don’t burn yourself out. I love the comic, but I don’t want you to feel obligated to work on it. Only do it if it makes you happy.

I don´t know, if I can keep up this pace for long. Sometimes I can finish my pages very fast and sometimes I have no motivation at all, since real life is not really pleasing at all at the moment. Working on the comic feels awfully disconnected from everything and I work on it like an automaton...

Stimmt. Voolvif hat den Nachtil, dass ihm die Wahrheit quasi ins Gesicht geklatscht worden ist.
Und Shistavanen sind halt eben mit heißem Temprament gesegnet.
Außerdem wollte ich hier einmal ein krasses Gegenteil zeigen, dass der Jedi im Stress ist und die nicht-Jedi cool bleiben. Ansonsten ist das immer anders herum in SW.

Unser flauschiger Jedi landet noch gefesselt und geknebelt in einer Zelle wenn er sich weiter wie ein ungezogenes Blag benimmt anstatt mal ein bisschen dankbar zu sein das die anderen Fluffel ihn wieder zusammen geflickt haben. Ich dachte Jedi sollen Weise und Besonnen reagieren selbst bei Stress. XD

Welp, that's all avenues closed off for Voolvif. Now there's only one thing left: tie up and gag the poor fella; he's too much of a danger right now, both to himself and to others.

In the long run it was those Jedi who went into hiding or exiled themselves who would survive the longest and who had friends and allies to support them. Though given his current emotional state, Voolvif is falling back into impulsiveness and it's difficult to try and think coolly and rationally.
Given that he's still physically weak and barely begun healing as well as his current state of emotional disarray, not really surprising that his attempt at a Jedi mind trick would be a no sell. Given how strong willed and stubborn Shistavanen can be including not least Voolvif himself, it's likely in any case they'd tend to be fairly resistant to a mind trick and Fennrer would be the type to be particularly strong willed.
Of course given Shistavanen blood runs hot, not surprising that Fennrer reacts as he does in the following pages.
