Did this last week while working through some art block. Really wanted to focus on developing the line art and playing around with color, since I normally play it pretty safe and that's just hella boring. And for whatever reason, I never seem to want to draw my own characters, so here's a gift for my boo crystacian. Hope you like it girl, Crys is SO much fun to draw/color :D

The colors you chose are really neat. For a character thats mostly white you did a nice job of keeping her from being at all bland.

Even though there is so much detail in this, all lovely mind you [from the lines to the color], I can't take my eyes of her nose. O.o
Such a small detail, but it really is gorgeous.

I love the coloring, like opal or mother-of-pearl. The later going great with the lobster/crustacean idea.

she actually really reminds me of a manticore in this! which is epic :> being scorpio which is what she is designed from except instead of a scorpion tail I gave her a lobster tail in the beginning when I designed her. so she's kind of like... a manticore, sphynx, siren!!! 8D oh epic. love love love<3<3

I always thought that this type of color scheme was awesome. I've tried it a few times, but I'm never really sure where to start/end. Love the feel of this.
