Kari froze at the gunshots, but it was Jake that ended up pressed to the door. As Jake slid down to the floor with blood seeping out of wounds, Tori screamed at Matthew as her nightmare form took hold. Main bright and waving like demonic flames, and her fur darkened as she charged this black fox. Matthew turned the gun toward her, but the Tori managed to smack the gun out of his hands. It clattered across the desk and away from them both. Tori went to punch him, but he grabbed her arm. Just touching her burned his hand, and Matthew had to quickly let go. Sera ran up to Matthew as well, and tried to grab him. Even with four arms, Matthew was able to keep her off him and even shove her back. Kari, on the other hand had her full attention to Jake as he laid against the door.

"Oh gosh, no." Kari said, looking to Jake, "Please, just hang in there, you're going to be okay."
Jake simply coughed and held his chest, "Stop him..."

Matthew was between a rakshasa with all four of her arms as well as a horse that was always ablaze. Still, this fox kept moving, and took opportunity after opportunity to strike back. With whatever was near by. Sera managed to dig her claws in once and a while, but Matthew always got free, often to avoid the punches from Tori.

"But, Jake, we..." Kari was lost for words at the time, "You're... If he... How would..." Her wings apparated as if she was about to do something, but nothing occurred, "Let me try to heal your wound." She put a hand over Jake's chest, "Get you some help."
Jake put a hand over where Kari "No... Save them..."

One moment, Sera managed to get Matthew in hold. but as Tori got close. Matthew swung his legs up and kicked Tori. He was kicking off Tori, and headbutting into Sera as a result. They both fell to the ground; then Matthew rushed back to his feet and charged Tori.

Kari was tearing up as she looked at Jack, struggling on the floor yet his concern was the others. "Don't die on me though, please, don't you leave me too." Kari begged, but there was no verbal answer just a breathing that was shaken.

When Kari turned to look at the fight. Matthew got close enough to Tori who swung wildly at him as Matthew grabbed onto her shirt. Through the burning heat, Matthew pulled Tori with him and slammed her head on the corner of the desk. She dropped to the floor, and the bright colors of her main faded before she even hit the floor.
