I saw an article on a radio burst they just caught from like 10,000 light years away. It was only a micro second, and I was wondering exactly how they caught it.

The article I read yesterday said it was from 8 billion light years away, and they caught it and pinpointed the source because there has been so much building of additional radio telescope arrays.

Long ago in a galaxy kind of close to home.

One has to imagine what lifeforms could inhabit that galaxy...

I've often wondered the same thing! So many times when I used to walk my dogs, looking up at the dark rural sky and seeing Andromeda, I wondered how many people from how many civilizations were there, looking at our galaxy and wondering if there were any other lifeforms here. And crazy to think that if they are there looking at the Milky Way, the light they're seeing was emitted before humans even existed as a species.

I'm hoping they are Felinoid anthro aliens looking for a human pet XD

It makes me think of the characters in the book I wrote who were aliens on another planet in another galaxy, all anthro versions of various species we would recognize from Earth. And if they're out there, I wish they'd come take me away with them!
