"When Tails was a wee lad, after he first met Sonic and inherited the Tornado from him, he decided that if he was going to get his own plane, he would need a parachute to keep him safe in the wild blue yonder. Ever the tinkerer, he started to make his own, his first non-tail flying tools!...with mixed results.

"W-Well, the ripcord still needs a little work, the canopy could inflate a little faster, and I know I can pack this up better than I did... But it opened and I feel safe here, so I can call this a success!"

Every adventure into the sky starts somewhere, and it doesn't always end with our wheels back on the ground, but Tails knows that's what the parachute's for!
