It was about a year after they'd first met when King Tomlin asked her to be his wife. Were he any other man she would have accepted immediately, but since he was king being his wife would make her queen, and as a fairly new mother of twins she didn't feel she was ready for that responsibility. She'd made him wait another five years and he'd obliged by never mentioning it again but remained a constant presence in her and their children's lives. As they watched their children depart for their first day of primary school she accepted his proposal and she was crowned Queen of Aldenea at their wedding.
