For this week's
Thursday_Prompt.
Prompt: Leave
Length: 1.3k words
I'll be honest, the concept for this was shamelessly stolen from
Atomic_Alex's Vulpines R' Us series as a fun non-cannon way of having all of my characters interact and to make fun of my favorite target of humor, myself. It probably won't make sense unless you've been reading my works and even then I also start making references so some really old stuff (my suggestion is to not read them because they're bad) as well some things that only people who have played in my tabletop games would get.

What fun it must be to be a character written up by another... though it does seem they may want to watch their backs. Honestly, kind of makes me want to try my hand at this sort of fun goofiness, just not too sure I could pull it off well.
I'd be interested to hear more about Beor and Viola if you don't mind writing up their adventures sometime; they sound like quite the duo!

Yeah, ever since I read the Vulpines R' Us stuff I've wanted to try my own hand at it because I think it's a fun concept. I actually found it a lot harder to write than my usual fare because of how many characters there were. So it was a challenge trying to make sure it didn't get too bogged down and keep it snappy while I usually instead do longer narrative works.
Anyways, Beor and Viola are two of my favorite characters from the tabletop game setting they are from. They really expanded from their original role of giving one of my players three different potential paths to study magic (other other two were a more formal education with no risk or joining a coven of dark magic) into being a rather important and entertaining pair of reoccurring characters that I've used over multiple campaigns. I've been saving them in my back pocket in case a Thursday Prompt comes around that they make sense being in. Although, if I feel like it, I might not wait. Going to be once I finish inktober stuff though as that is taking up all my spare time.

Yeah. It's a fun concept. I'm definitely going to be introducing more of these characters into some of the short stories I write here... because, well, I've got a lot of them. I had to hold myself back to just a few voices when doing this just to make sure it didn't get too bogged down. Definitely going to have to come up with a name for this group event when I decide to reuse the concept. Unfortunately I don't have an easy unifying theme to them like foxes to base the name off of.
And Howard bringing up that one off comic I made for a joke was very rude of him. Good thing this is non-cannon or who knows what Kaj would do with such information.
