Yeah, don't want to give things away of course, but as with all characters involved they have some (hopefully) fun stuff planned. Naturally can't have him be as antagonistic towards the player as he is during the start of it all game long.

What made you go with a cat for the player character? I did wonder what my character was when I was first playing through.

Nothing in particular tbh. Like the character is supposed to be as blank of a slate as possible and not reaaaaally be his own character. So I just had to make some decision to not always dance around the issue and provide some freedom to actually include the player in the artwork.

So white fur for symbolic reasons, and then the decision was either a domestic cat or domestic dog as a "blank-slate" character. And since half the main cast is canine-based I went with feline.
It's really nothing more to it than that, though I do feel like James has become a bit of his own character as people always call him James.

I went Wolfs route first, and this only confirms that I made the right choice 👀

I'm honestly really happy that he seems to be quite popular among the cast! Wasn't sure if I maybe did end up making him too antagonistic, but hey it seems to have worked out just fine!
And next public one's got a decent amount with him as well, so I'm sure you'll get a bit of a treat. :D

I don't think you did! I never really got that vibe anyway. Introverted, private and a bit antisocial maybe. But those I can relate to, which is why I like him as a character.

Thank you, yeah really happy with how he turned out! Just something about this body style that is so fun to paint. Just the interaction of muscle, sinews and bones makes for just such a fun landscape of shapes across the body. Thanks Canis :)

Thank you. Yeah part of that is down to the requirements of the game. This is basically the neutral model without too much light influence. So for any neutral light settings like interior rooms while scenes in sunlight get a different look.
