SixSydes asked me if I wanted to get a full ref in color for my new sourang character, and I couldn't help but jump on that opportunity! He knocked it out of the park. <3
Cozna is a sourang, a species from :ionRickGriffin:'s Hayven Celestia universe, and the species features heavily in Gre7g Luterman's book Fair Trade (book 3 of the Kanti Cycle).

Cozna isn't his real name, as sourang names are very difficult to pronounce. Their main language consist of chitters and clicks, similar to squirrels arguing over nuts. He decided to go with the name of a flowering plant that he really loves that's native to the planet he lives on. His clan tattoo in his right ear even closely resembles the flower by a happy chance.
Most of the backstory I have on him is fluid and subject to change, But this is what I'm thinking of so far (this is within the overarching Hayven Celestia universe:
He's shorter and stockier than typical sourang, somewhere around 10 feet/3 meters tall when standing upright (though sourang are partially quadrupedal and always walk on all fours when walking or running), and instead of eking out an existence living in between the walls and basements of Krakun apartments like a rat as many sourang do, he owns an upscale lounge/nightclub/possibly a casino on a predominantly ringel planet that's not part of either of the warring empires, so the whole planet is an entertainment, gambling, and illicit business haven frequently used as a port of call by pirates, smugglers, and adventurous business types from the empires who wish to do under the table business with each other which would normally be illegal in their home empires.
He's very flamboyant and has a much more friendlier demeanor than the typical sourang, as he has spent most his life among the heavily outgoing and promiscuous ringels. His fashion sense has developed beyond the usual sourang reverence for jewelry and he's often seen adorned in expensive fabrics made from extremely rare materials.
Considering the society he exists in, he's definitely involved in shady underworld dealings as well. But since sourang are well known to have a strong sense of honor regarding deals and contracts, and never breaking promises, he's very well respected by both the legitimate and the underworld society.
He also makes a lot of his own business dealings in the backrooms of this establishment, often involving lucrative smuggling operations running luxury goods in and out of Krakuntec Prime via some sourang colonies there.
My character Tiko is his pet/best friend, and Cozna takes very good care of Tiko
Tiko also performs duties around the lounge such as tending to the hospitality needs of VIPs and other customers, as seen here when the pirate Inzari paid a visit during a port of call: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/52535341/ (NSFW)
