My patience is used up... just like I'm going to make use of you~_______________________________________________________________________Dragons have always been a curious case throughout history. They've been known to terrorize villages, kidnap princesses, haul off tons of gold and valuables for the sake of building up their hoard, and were usually often considered the final obstacle to overcome in a hero's quest, if not a formidable enemy overall. Nowadays, however... many can agree that era of dragons is now left far behind. These mythical creatures seem to have adopted similar, relatively tame demeanors other furfolk seem to possess.
Though, not all dragons adhere to such changes.
Others, like Hyper here, tend to be a bit more stubborn, hopelessly trying to resurface their ancestor's past efforts, to little to no avail due to the overwhelmingly contrasting majority. When he's not out trying to nudge other dragons back to their roots, he's out challenging other Pokémon in battles- including fairy types- which in the long run has caused a fear of Sylveons to develop in the poor Drakeon's mind, up until recently, where he decided to finally stop testing his luck against such potent opponents, all at risk of "damaging his legacy" more.
Things would change one day, however. But not in the way Hyper might have expected- as he was walking out over an open field, and happened to notice a blue, glowing figure beneath a tree which was growing alone in the valley. Upon coming close enough, he noticed it looked to be... a Solgaleo?! ...Well, the steel typing shouldn't be TOO big of a deal, but otherwise- a perfect challenge to prove himself! Though, this didn't seem to look like any normal Solgaleo- he seemed smaller than what he thought Solgaleo looked like, and his adornments were in different spots... No matter. He'd prove himself either way!
Hyper approached the 'mon with a brash demeanor, demanding to fight him. This off- looking Solgaleo, now aware of the Drakeon's presence, only smirked and chuckled under his breath, before calmly agreeing, standing up on his hind legs and assuming a stance. This massively caught Hyper off guard- Solgaleo would never stand up like this- but quickly assumed it was just a tactic to confuse and disarm him, focusing on the battle at hand. Hyper decides to lead off with a Flamethrower, hitting his target dead- on and scorching the grass around him, but this Solgaleo just... stands still, seemingly shrugging it off completely, his gaze affixed on him, with a slightly judgemental smile. A bit nervous from this, Hyper then decides to use Extreme Speed- perhaps to knock him off his feet, rushing the Solgaleo down at blinding speeds and managing to successfully land a few hits on him, but once Hyper realizes an odd, tingly goo is starting to creep up his paws, his chain of attacks is stopped short, and he suddenly feels himself being grabbed by his scruff. He stared back up at his opponent, terrified and confused, but as Hyper's eyes meet his in such a close proximity, he suddenly felt an overwhelmingly disarming aura engulf him, starting to get lost in the gaze, but then quickly turning away and trying to squirm his way out of this Solgaleo's grasp, all the while the strange goo slowly coated more and more of his body, every space of fur and scale it claimed calming him bit by bit, but he still tried to resist this allure. Suddenly, the offputting Solgaleo chimed in.
"My, I've never had a worthy starchild be this resisting. I applaud the effort, but there's no use in fighting the inevitable~"
Hyper's mind flooded with sudden panic and awe...! What did he mean by "worthy starchild"? Was he expecting him this whole time? What's happening to him? And why does succumbing not seem like that bad of an idea... His mind raced more and more, until... nothing. Then, Hyper had awakened to the same Solgaleo, but... now he distinctly knew the name of his victor. Yes, he was Cepheus... and he was a branch disciple among many whom he now belonged to, all under the guise of Solgaleo- the REAL Solgaleo. "That's better, isn't it? Welcome to your new life, Centauri!" ...And as if on cue, he and Cepheus found the both of them ascending up and away from the lonesome tree in the valley, into the orbit of Earth, where he was treated to the sight of many different disciples, both of Solgaleo and Lunala, treating their branch disciples well and having fun in zero gravity, completely exempt of all stress and worry. Hyper's- no- Centauri's mind never felt so clear. He was chasing a purpose that no longer existed. Here, he could prove himself in a way he previously never thought possible. He COULD be prideful, but he still needed to know his place, like a kobold among dragons.
...Wait, what do you mean Cepheus's branch has two Sylveons?!_______________________________________________________________________
