Everything posted after this file will be considered part of two new canons, one for the Catherineverse and another for the Sofiaverse. That doesn’t mean that everything before is completely decanonized, but if something in a previous post is contradicted by this, then what is in this document and what comes later takes precedence.

General Catherineverse information
Catherine, Karina, Lehua, and Aileas are all in the same neighborhood, which is located on the eastern end of Bremerton, Washington, USA. Kaze lives in Port Orchard, Immanuel is in Silverdale, and Ning lives just outside of Bremerton, off of its southwest end.

The Catherineverse’s history is almost identical ours up to the 1950s, when magic suddenly began to become common, and a large number of people were either converted into or born as anthros, setting off a series of social, economic, and political catastrophes that crashed Earth’s overall sentient population; it never managed to exceed two billion, one fifth of which are anthros. This world is also far less car dependent, and bikes and public transportation are in heavy use. Nuclear power is in common use as well, it alongside renewables have totally replaced fossil fuels worldwide.

Catherine Cadwallader
My primary fursona now has a job as a maritime engineer, working on ferries and moving people and cargo across the Puget Sound. She is still married to Ning and her hobbies remain unchanged. She still has plenty of time for her hobbies and her marriage due to her work schedule. At work, Catherine can typically be found on either the Poulsbo-Seattle or the Kingston-Edmonds ferry route. She still has her historic vehicle collection, but it is now significantly smaller, and none of it is in running or flying condition.

Ning
She isn’t quite as aggressive with using her magic as she used to be, but will still use it for her twisted sense of justice. She can occasionally be seen assisting Karina in her library when she isn’t on her own or with Catherine.

Karina Dakota
The library she works at will now be somewhat more active. It’s a mystery in the family why she has black fur, when as long as they’ve been anthros (they were one of the first entire families to be converted in the 1950s) they’ve always had gray, and sometimes white, fur. She is originally from South Carolina, hence her drawl.

Lehua Lakopa
Now has a sailboat that he sometimes takes his friends out on.

Aileas Evans
Her magical and regular clothing store, Aileas’s Attire, is in Silverdale, by its waterfront.

Immanuel Schlender
His ice cream parlor, the Life-Changingly Good, is now situated in Poulsbo and offers non-transformative stuff in addition to the usual potion-infused treats. He has occasional, but almost always minor, accidents when brewing potions.

Kaze Veit
He is now a freelance music instructor, typically offering guitar lessons at his local music store.

Catherine’s band
It is now known as the Five Fluffs, and they no longer practice in an old warehouse but in the house of one of the band members. Whose house it is rotates between gatherings. Every member still has their original instrument; Catherine is on trumpet, Karina on drums, Lehua on alto saxophone, Aileas on trombone, and Kaze on bass guitar.

General Sofiaverse information
The Sofiaverse is largely identical to the Catherineverse, but when magic appeared there, it manifested in different ways, such as beings that were mythical before the event being significantly more common. Magic is also somewhat less common.

Sofia Beyer (Greifswald, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Deutschland)
Sofia, my alternative fursona, is also a maritime engineer, and she works on a deep-sea research vessel, sometimes lending a hand to the scientists on board when she isn’t in the engine room or machinery spaces.
