Here is the portrait of my dear friend, Hageshiiomo, the ogre.
As you can see, for the moment he is largely untouched by the Corruption that is eating away at his people.
Unfortunately, this pest remains alive and well despite the centuries he has spent locked away in his own orbs. I proposed this idea to him until we could find a solution. It seems that the Corruption has forced him to take on a host, despite all his efforts to avoid breaking his oath as Guardian. Some might call this a stroke of good fortune. For other, misfortune.
Despite all his efforts to fight it, Corruption remains there, lurking in the shadows. Even though I am a being of the Void, of that form of entity that never feels, I must admit that a weight as heavy as all the books in my library combined weighs on my conscience. For every time I see him smiling, I detect beneath his mask the shadow of what he is becoming.

Indeed, they are renowned for their superhuman strength and voracious appetite.
Nevertheless, my dear, I don't share your point of view and I'm working hard to prevent corruption from gaining ground, at least on him.
But if you'd like to see what a completely corrupted ogre can look like, I can direct you to a painting given to me by a collector. The entity on the right is physically affected. Otherwise, one of these mentally affected but physically spared beasts would be this incantation with a Fallen Guardian mask.

This affinity is due more to chance encounters. It is true that these are the ones I show first in this grimoire, but it could also have been about reptilian specimens and derivatives : the snake of the innocent flower, Nāga herself or certain lizard-chimeras of my composition.
Nevertheless, you do not bore me in the slightest. I apologise, though, for my late reply. Your appreciation is greatly appreciated, if you allow me this redundancy.
