If that is a size changing ring, I don't think Coalt should accept it. If he does thats basically saying that society is right about him and that being large and powerful is all that matters.

And Coalt also need to accept the truth - you cannot run from ghosts of the past or your own deep desires. Like a revenant it will emerge one way or another and will haunt him to the end of days poisoning his life
He either need to accept what he is and give up on any respect or face his fears while overcoming them with wits and his internal strength
This comics becomes more interesting with every frame
