I’ll admit that while I love Bluey, I don’t get this episode. Bluey can’t sleep, so dad…starts screaming and yelling and playing music that might wake the OTHER child and like…I’ll just say, if that happened in THIS household, it wouldn’t go well for the Unicorse…

Yes, this!
Obviously Chilli and Bandit wanted some late night QT, and well Bluey ruins it at all. So in turn Unicourse tries to ruin Bluey's experience of staying up past her bedtime.
Besides its my costume, I just need to stuff some children in my tummy and find a unicorn book to carry around.
Honestly it was written for the LOLs more than anything of how adults can be as annoying as children!

This was actually discussed on the Reddit! Lemme find the quote... https://www.reddit.com/r/bluey/comm.....mment/k147ika/
"t’s applied triangulation!
A Bowen triangle is basically the idea that among any three people in a family system, a triangulation tends to form in which two people are an allied “dyad” and one is left on the outside.
But the alliances are fluid! In Unicorse, Bandit and Chili begin as the dyad opposed to Bluey, then Bandit (as Unicorse) and Bluey are the dyad against Chili, but then Bandit (Unicorse) purposely moves to the outside by annoying Bluey, which forces a Chili and Bluey into a dyad, which allows Chili to guide Bluey back to bed.
The puppet allows Bandit to become a real jerk in order to move to the outside position without being a jerk “himself” in Bluey’s eyes. Quite a gambit!
Parents often utilize triangulation without knowing the family systems theory behind it. If you’ve ever done the “good cop/bad cop” routine (or lets say, stern parent/silly parent routine) to get a kid into a car seat, that’s triangulation."
