If a careless alien eats a male parasitic Venusivorare fruit, they become a Sentinel. Sentinels resemble botanical zombies made of wood and moss that will either guard Venusivorare territory, protect vulernable bloaters, or assist in invading enemy regions. Their arms (if the host had them) are transformed into powerful whiplike vines that can grapple enemies or slash them to submission. They also possess a powerful set of jaws that have a powerful biting force of 5,000 PSI. While they resemble a pumpkin smile, that's only due to how they are shaped. When the transformation is complete, the Sentinel will lose all of its sapience (if it had any before) and will only respond to Venusivorareian commands.

They are very powerful, but they have a weakness. Their wood bodies are very flammable so lighting one on fire is usually enough to kill it. Despite this though, one should take caution as the doomed Sentinel can (and often will) go for the hail mary tactic of charging towards their opponents while still burning to try and explode like the oak tree enemies in EarthBound.
