Badillo seeks out the damaged and discarded parts of broken pokeballs and consumes them to create its protective shell. In their rolled up form they are often mistaken for pokeballs. Often they will remain rolled up even after being picked up by trainers, thinking they have found a dropped pokeball. when thrown Badillo will unroll and scamper off, usually having managed to eat some of their hosts supplies.

Armallo's shell is constructed out of the scrap metal it has consumed throughout its life. It is extremely durable, offering a near perfect defense when curled into a ball, though its speed and accuracy suffer greatly when doing so. Armallo will often begin a battle rolled up in a ball, goading its foes to attack it while it builds up power, the longer it waits the more devastating its first attack will be.
