They are known for their excitable and troublesome nature, as well as their fondness to scream over anything. when they seen prey they shout so loud it stuns their targets, when they find a comfy place to nap they excitedly shout for their good fortune. when another pokemon snatches away their food or toy they through a ruckus temper tantrum. they are often found in large groups.

Shreek are almost always surrounded by a swarm of Bratt, living as their leader and protector. when a Bratt calls out in distress their Shreek will charge out and add its own defining cry to the chorus. if their ear piercing screams fail to drive off their foes, their terrible bite often does the job.
