Your use of black/line weight really inspires me
There’s so many “art rules” that say not to use black but I think your style always shows the intensity it can add to a piece.

if its something you want to integrate, i highly suggest watching the short anime movie "Dead Leaves," which is a huge inspiration of mine. Also Mike Mignola (of Hellboy) has some amazing dark linework.

This really is spectacular. It has all the energy and texture of your character work, but in the setting as well as the yote. The color palette is vibrant and soaring. I wish I had a coyote friend to show it to!
