Eldagato is a pokemon of legend, said to have been made by an ancient civilization as a protector of their temples and treasures. according to these legends Eldagato would remain stationary with these sacred halls and await those who wished to plunder its secrets, often mistaken itself as a precious artifact. when something attempted to make off with its treasures Eldagato would wake and attack, its claws barring a terrible curse that would turn flesh into the gold they so coveted. it is believed that these guardians where lost with the civilization that made them, however reports of strange golden creatures are still rumored to this day.
