- His blood contains healing properties (able to cure any illness, injury, or disease) which caused a lot of sparks between his hospital, the reigning greed prince, and the mob bosses within the greed layer
- Was later discovered to be making unauthorized deals and pacts with humans in their realm, turning himself into a beacon of hope for them and causing further discourse among the greed demons (the humans were getting healed, and the medical industry was losing money, which made the greed demons quite unhappy)
- As he grew worried for his safety, he ultimately gave the humans the knowledge to create vaccines, which threw everything over the edge when Pestilence also was forced to get involved
- Verrine was eventually reported to the reigning king of hell, Lord Amon, who personally took it upon himself to cast judgement upon the traitor
- Taking note of his healing and regenerative properties, Amon decided to keep Verrine as a personal plaything since his previous “toys” usually end up quite mangled and broken
- Despite his healing powers, Verrine is unable to cure his poor eyesight
- He’s soft spoken and gentle in nature, never having intended to cause discourse since he only wanted to help people feel better, even at the risk of turning himself into nothing more than a walking blood bag
