Brighde was a warrior queen of the realms north of Prince Eburo's new reign, which she has personally led raiding parties against, and she ruled with a very militaristic way that valued warriors above all else. This would get her on the wrong side of the harvest witches and their deity as she would consider them as useless subjects in her realm for refusing to fight and would constantly antagonize them eventually going as far as to steal their relics and desecrate their coven. This proved to be her biggest mistake as the harvest spirit cursed her and fused her spirit into a scarecrow effigy of herself, an obvious trap in hindsight which she walked into with open eyes.

Since then she is now made to fight for the harvest witches cause untill she learns to respect their ways and earns her body back which is held preserved somewhere by the harvest spirit. She also lost the respect of her people now that she's a scarecrow and she was forced to pick up a life as an adventurer, going where she is needed to restore nature's balance. She despised her curse at first as she was now physically much weaker with almost no control over this new body, not to mention being extremely vulnerable to fire, untill she learned to use nature magic to counter some of these disadvantages. Since she is now just made of straw and leather she can be easily chopped apart, though her body will repair itself over time or she can patch herself up. While she does not feel hunger anymore she does have a need for food and drink but only freshly harvested or made foods such as fresh bread or brewed beer, as these still contain some trace of nature's magic to keep her body functioning.

Over time she has learned to use nature magic with the help of some druids, as well as gettign used to the only weapon she is able to wield, the harvest moon, the tool of the harvest spirit that cursed her. While there is still some arrogance and anger in her she has changed a bit while adapting to this new life and even made some friends along the way. But also some enemies since she seems to have it in for Cenia for some reason. Perhaps she knows more about Eburo's advisor than she's willing to tell but it matters little since Cenia is well out of her reach anyway, but their paths do seem to cross in unlikely places...
