Late post is late!
After serving as mercenaries for a while, Enorach and Lars started serving more and more often under the banner of the Republic of Tresti, mainly because of their tolerant stance towards non-humans in their lands. Tresti has always been more concerned about money and trading rather than conquering lands for the sake of it or imposing their religion onto others. Granting (almost) equal rights to non-human citizens and protecting their lands and rights proved to be a very profitable strategy, as many of them started serving in Tresti's army and fleet, paying taxes and putting their unique skills at the service of the country.
Throughout the years, both Enorach and Lars distingushed themselves in battle and later in politics, becoming more and more influentials and eventually leading their own troops. For Enorach receiving such recognition from a human government has been extremely important, as he always deeply resented the fact many humans saw him as little more than an animal. He has spent his whole life among humans, after all (even if a large part of his life was spent in slavery), and human cultures and values are all he's ever known.

Oh my!! Its real!! ...at first I sayed "haha, this is a good depiction of of one of Enorach dreams"
...then I read the story, and went "wait no, this is real!" ...and instantly went genuinely so happy for this.
Thanks for shareing all these glimpses of your world. As in any good piece of literature, one ends up considering them your friends... and even more so, if they can transport you to fantastic worlds... one pic at a time.
Ps: "he is kinda hot too" ...well ...yeah. He is cuttie isnt he? XD
