Tlanextli, The Hot-blooded Ruler of Kulkotla
The wildland of Kulkotla, a place that's described as hell on earth. Almost impossible to travel through due to being protected from the influence of the outside world by its series of volcanic ranges. The gasses and vapors have dyed the sky scarlet red and turned the sun a fiery crimson for millennia.
Any would think that nothing would survive in such a hostile environment, but with the protection of the vermilion serpent of blazing feathers, Huitzcuahuitl, the inhabitants of Kulkotla have been living a prosperous life since its conception.
The fauna and flora have evolved to mythical levels. Even high-ranking adventurers and hunters would have a hard time trying to get something to eat around these parts by themselves.
The dinosaur tribes of Kulkotla on the other hand have mastered the art of survival with the techniques taught to them through centuries of learning the teachings of their god Huitzcuahuitl, he who bestows good fortune to those with the will to live.
There are six main tribes living in Kulkotla: The Obsidian Mirror tribe, priests and shamans are born here; The Bone Spear tribe, with its hunters and traders; The Granite Mortar tribe, healers and herbalist; The Wooden Club tribe, known for training the bravest and most skilled warriors; The Copper Hoe tribe, they were in charge of agriculture; and lastly, The Jade Earring tribe, in charge of fine crafts and clothing.
Their territories all surround the Golden City, where the nobles and high-ranking officials reside. This is also the place where the Turquoise Room is located. Inside is the golden throne, in which only the avatar of Huitzcuahuitl and the current regent of Kulkotla can sit. That would be none other than the Tlanextli, fury incarnate.
Born from the head clan of the Wooden Club tribe, he was prophesied to be the next coming of Huitzcuahuitl. His father turned him into a fierce warrior, and while he hated the grueling training, he didn't have a choice. His unusual appearance kept other kids at bay, and any other who was willing to overlook that in hopes of making connections was quickly sent the other way by the priests and Tlanextli's teachers and family.
Alone and growing in a culture that valued the strong amongst anyone else, he quickly started to resent everyone who didn't have his divine status and power. The older and mightier he got, the stronger his contempt grew. Once he finally was able to rule on his own, Tlanextli became known as one of the most ruthless of monarchs to have ever reigned over Kulkotla.
Known for his fiery temper, his violent tendencies and his uninhibited way of thinking, he doesn't have issues overruling his own counsel when it comes to what he thinks is best for his kingdom; usually something that will also benefits his debaucherous and violent tendencies. And whoever decides to go against him, usually ends up facing him in deadly combat in the arena.
At this point, he has turned into an oppressing tyrant, and no one can stop him. Will there ever be one soul capable of reaching out to the depths of his blackened heart? Perhaps one day. In the meantime, Tlanextli will keep on ruling with an iron fist. Fire and blood tainting the land.

JawlineJerk / Twitter made once and I felt in love with it so much that I asked them if I could adopt them. this is how Tlanextli was born; a T-rex/Coatl and avatar of a god. He might be angry all the time, but he just needs a little love.
