Today is my 27th birthday. My last year has been really chaotic. This was my first full year having a full-time career and being 100% on my own. I don't have much of a work life balance (really common for the first few years in my field), and it leaves me so drained most days I can barely get a coherent sentence out. But I'm pushing through it, and little by little I'm learning to set boundaries and be more confident in my abilities.

I haven't had much mental space or time to be creative, but for some reason I can still make music. I got a Roland Fantom last December, and it's opened a whole new world for me. Hopefully I can get some real demos going soon. We'll see.
