My attempt at this week's... Wednesday Prompt? The word for this impromptu prompt was "singular".
As always, please be sure to check

I'm conflicted this time: technically I'm managing my Thursday goal but I got the prompt word a day early and still didn't manage that. Oh well, I'll take what I can get, I suppose.
Anyway, I've had this idea in the back of my head for a while now and it is inspired by this image by

Not exactly what I had originally set out to do, but I think it came out decent enough.

I wanted to deliberately leave the grandfather's story out because I want to expand upon this one and use that as a bit of a plot point if I do continue. I can also see why the time jump might not have worked well here, thank you for pointing out what you didn't think worked well.
I appreciate you having taken the time to read through this one, thanks much.

That's a very sweet story. A nice idea with the wall and world outside of it; seems very archetypical to me in a sense. And well, a cute approach to this, considering she stepped over the wall and overcame this obstacle with a laugh. Makes me think of how different real life is. :P A really enjoyable read.
I'm grateful you'd say this one was enjoyable. I was having a bit of fun trying to make her demonstrate how excited she was to no longer be behind the wall and I'm glad you'd say that came off well enough.
Thank you very much for taking the time to read, greatly appreciated.

I'm glad you like Zera's bravery in the face of post-apocalyptic monstrosities trying to ground her into paste. I do want to keep this one going and I think I know how I want to carry out the reveal behind her grandfather's final adventure, but for the time being this is all I've got *nervous laugh*.
Thank you very much for simply taking the time to read this one over, always appreciated.
