Art Fight - Up! I Want Up!
Sometimes you may find yourself staring into the starry abyss. And sometimes that abyss stares back at you. And demands to be picked up now.

Does anyone else remember the Paper Child craze that took over art spaces in the early 2000's? You still see them occasionally today, but not as commonly.
For those who don't know, they were little cut out drawing. Almost like paper dolls. But the idea was that they were drawn to look like they are interacting with the real world. So you might have one ready to chomp on something and place it next to an apple. Or have it tugging back at an item while you old it by the other side of that item.
Super cute things. I hadn't done a paper child in quite a number of years. I forgot how cute and fun they were. So this was a good excuse to resist that idea since I got reminded of them recently (they use paper children during the end credits of God Troubles Me).
Plus, good excuse to do traditional art. I had been wanting to practice layering color pencils on top of markers more. I'm so happy with how this turned out! Though I may have went a little crazy with the white spots, haha.
