Chapter 25: Halloween Bash


Synopsis: Connie is a 25 year old woman who is the long lost half-sister to Jinx. She is a lady who has the tendency to wear very heavy clothing, even if it is a hot summer day. When Connie found herself in a World known as Daybreak Town, she was determined to get back home no matter what, so she could meet her half-sibling. As time went on, Connie got stronger, which caught the attention of a young man in a black coat who went by the name of Oliver. When Oliver approached Connie, he asked her if she would like to join him and his team that was known as Galactic Star. Hearing this, and after being on her own for quite some time, Connie agreed and said yes, making new friends and bonds with others as she started to spend time in the party. When some time had passed since Connie joined the party, she encountered a young woman who went by the name of Jinx. When the two of them began to talk to one another, the two of them came to realize that the half-siblings they were supposed to meet at the airport before getting brought to Daybreak Town were each other. Despite being brought together in a twist of fate at a different World, the two of them were happy to have finally met regardless of their current circumstances.


After finding herself alive again after the Keyblade War, Connie woke up in the middle of a park at an unfamiliar World. Doing what she could to survive and get by, Connie had been staying at a homeless shelter, all while trying to find a job, and trying out Tennis at the recreation centre. It was at the recreation centre, Connie would meet a Squirrel girl named Isabel. And she would become her first friend since finding herself where she is. With the two of them becoming quick friends, Connie was told by her new friend that her family was looking for a Security Guard, and nobody had come forward to give an application. Knowing where this was going, Connie insisted on taking the job, which was humbly accepted and given to her. After a few months had passed since she had gotten a job, Connie had gotten herself a place of her own, with everything starting to look up for her. That was when she received a call from Isabel, who informed her that she was invited to a Halloween party and wanted to bring her with them. Not wanting to pass a chance to have some fun with her friend, Connie eagerly accepted the offer. Putting on her Halloween costume, and carrying her trusty machete given by her mother, Connie locked the door of her home, ready to have a night she won't soon forget.

This chapter wound up taking longer than I have expected. When I mean longer than expected I mean this chapter took 2 years to finally be completed. That, as well as the massive dump of notifications I have been still sorting through even as I write this. But I do hope that this Special Halloween chapter was worth the long wait for those who have been reading my story :) . As for the character herself, there are some bits of info that were once thought of but were in the end changed or scrapped. But regardless of that, I do hope all of you enjoy reading this chapter :) .
