I used Devon as a guinea pig to test out a new ref sheet style, but then realised I've never really said much about him? Or about any of the Solare cast tbh. So I guess this can also double as an intro post of sorts.

He's a cellist, (tho he also plays the violin and the pipe organ. And yes I do mean the massive kind they have in cathedrals) and is super dedicated to preserving and archiving old music from other planets. (Or at least he currently is anyway, who knows what he'll get really into next.)

He's had a pretty rough life, to say the least. He's seen a lotta shitty things, lost far too many people, and wasted too much time on things he didn't give a shit about. So now all he really wants is to be left alone to peacefully wander the Solare desert and scavenge old instruments and sheet music from deserted alien settlements.

Unfortunately, this is difficult to do alone, and it turns out being a super reclusive solo musician is also a little limiting. Hence why he has to put up with an array of weirdo bandmates/research assistants. (Who I'll post soon) Which is purely a tactical move and they TOTALLY don't take the edge off the loneliness and he DEFINITELY doesn't hold any kind of fondness towards them or anything.
