This picture came to me over a year ago, but the first iteration that it came out as was...sensitive, such that I didn't feel comfortable posting it due to it existing too close to the real world. This is not the first time a commission got rejected for sensitive material (eagle feather law "Bird World problems" pic) but it also probably won't be last.
In any case Heather graciously redrew her first iteration, understanding my concerns about it being a bit too on-the-nose. So here we have this.

The joke centered around Natau and Dawnsari being arrested for illegal possession of raptor feathers, despite them being anthro birds, because The Law Is The Law.
However, the artist and I jointly decided to shelve the idea due to fact that false/unjust arrests of minorities in the US is a REAL FUCKING PROBLEM and it might come off as entirely tasteless. "The failure mode of "clever" is "asshole"", and all that.
It's one of a many ideas I've had that'll probably never be drawn. Even some of the older images in my gallery feel a bit cringy these days to me, particularly https://www.furaffinity.net/view/28617683/

I honestly don't see this as cringey. Learning about bras is something everyone with breasts has to do, and there are a lot of misconceptions that can arise from not needed to know the information and not bothering to learn. Speaking as a trans woman, I learned a lot in a short period that I hadn't known before reaching this point.
