Being today, the day that it is, I went back into my files and found something that touched my heart in the writing.
darknatasha was totally instrumental in beginning my writing career. *smiles... you might have noticed my story icon that I have used seemingly forever.
This story is from the third book that was never published. The images used may be found on her site. This link is to the Medicine Bear: https://www.darknatasha.com/product.....amp;cst=custom
I owe so much to Dark. In one small act of giving, she gave me Vixyy's image, and the rest is history. She shall ever be my friend.
This story is 12 pages long. For me, the writer, it is very emotional, as I watched it happen.

This one dropped off my radar for some reason. Granted, I've been preoccupied lately. That said...
You've always had a way of telling stories that dip in and out of the extraordinary, flirting with the supernatural without losing grip on plain ol' reality. The way you weave the two sides together is nothing short of magical.
And I've always admired your ability to keep each on their side of the fence while still allowing them to have a friendly chat like old neighbors.
I'd like to think that if I ever met the medicine bear I'd be able to keep calm and hear his words. But, most likely I'd be thinking, "Oh, so this is what having a stroke is like!"
*hugs*
