plot twist: this is actually a fake Odalia and the real one is tied up in a cave under blight manor. the fake one was an abomination experiment of Alador's that gained sentience and was jealous of Odalia for having a family so she kidnapped Odalia after Amity was born and used a concealment stone to hide her gooey appearance while the real Odalia languished in a cave worried about what that thing was doing to her family
