While exploring in a scarcely mapped out part of the Galaxy, Lhassir's ship picks up on something rather unusual, a distress signal, at least, what might be a distress signal. The frequency is not one he's ever seen before. Being the curious spacer he is, he wants to check it out, and turns his ship towards the unnamed and unmapped world, only to discover the ruins of what appear to be a long dead civilization. The beacon is a relic of a conflict long seen to its conclusion. Bombed out buildings and the ruins of vehicles, skeletons of the former denizens of this ancient conflict littered the expanse of this quiet, now overgrown world. In the wake of this conflict, growth and life begin anew, heralding a mournful peace, upon this nameless planet. With nothing and no one to find, Lhassir hops upon an ancient instrument of war, and rests himself, while pondering the many lessons, this world has to teach.
