At 220 cm (7 ft 2 inches) in breadth, Oettinger 1973 VW Beetle is the widest ever built in Europe. The massive wheel arches hide big racing tires with white rims. The car is not just a pretty face as its rear end houses a tuned six cylinder Porsche 911 engine that generates 255 horsepower. Oettinger has also fitted Porsche brakes all round in order to safely bring the car to a stop from the high speed its capable of reaching.

The 1973 Beetle 1303 chassis has been heavily reinforced and modified in order to cope with the increase in performance. True connoisseurs should be able to tell that the body has been made to resemble the famous 911 Turbo Flachbau from the 80’s. The customizer has chosen to give it a white and silver paintjob and tinted windows all-round.

Other boasting features come in the form of a conspicuous spoiler, expansive body kit (custom-made by Oettinger), a bit of tape to cover the scratches in the front bumper(which shows its a racer not a poser) and of course the top speed of 210 km/h, a lot more than the original car could do.
