Looks like our story ends here, at ground “Ground Zer-urp” - the car where it all began… to think, all these fellas boarded the train perfectly fit (well…maybe not fit, but at least mobile!)- now, they’ve all been transformed into nothing more than an army of creaking, sloshing, swollen blue boulders!

Hm? A juicer would help? Nah… that sounds uncomfortable! Who would want to be pressed and squished for ages? Permaberry Farms, on the other hand, sounds much more comfortable…

This is probably the most drastic formatting change I’ve had to make with a comic, but it was very much necessary to include all these fun (and often fatty) characters!

This is a continuation of the Already Baring Chaos Gum commission I did for  Midaras, as part of  Creature_Unknown’s Juicy July prompt list, and I believe this prompt was “27: Influence on Others.”

And here we also have the first appearance of  Creature_Unknown, as a tribute to the fantastic artist and berry fanatic he was. Who better to be driving a train of berrified blimps than the creator of Juicy July himself?

I wanted to give a huge thank you to  Midaras, first of all, for being such a wonderful client and friend over the years, but also for two other reasons…

This piece was a wonderful experiment and challenge to meet, with all sorts of concepts and techniques needing to be utilized to make it work. I pushed Procreate’s canvas size and layer number to the limit with these last few pages, and it was a blast working on a piece so jam-packed with characters!

I also wanted to thank him for selecting me for such an important and personal piece of art involving  Creature_Unknown. Seeing as it’s his birthday, I feel like now was a good time to share this commissioned homage to his work. These last few parts in particular are heavily inspired by his huge YCH-auction pieces, which involved impressive amounts of characters getting into all sorts of expansion related hijinks.

It was an honor to be commissioned by  Midaras for such a personal piece, and I hope you all enjoy this berry bonanza as much as I did drawing it!
